In Which I Write My Senator

One of the great defining features of our democracy is the direct line of communication that exists between constituent and representative. Any citizen with plea or protest may write their congressperson and receive a listening ear.

I'm not too sure her office was amused.

However, they certainly equipped me with a robust set of resources for addressing my dilemma. I received a 51-page packet containing contact information for practically every legal agency in the state, though Santa's address was noticeably absent.
